Sailmaking

Sailmaking: creating a custom sail

From the very beginning, the creation of accessories has gone hand in hand with my experience working in different sailmaking workshops.

For many years, I have been making sails for traditional boats, including the distinctive lug sail, as well as for self-built projects, canoes and, of course, modern sailing boats. The variety of experiences and environments in which I have worked has enriched my approach to designing and crafting each piece.

Every sail is made with meticulous attention to detail, where every element matters: from the finishing touches and choice of materials to the aerodynamic performance, with the aim of combining functionality, aesthetics and durability.

I also make traditional custom-made covers, using leather and waxed thread for blocks, steering wheels, turnbuckles and many other elements of a boat. Each piece is designed to provide protection, withstand the passage of time and blend naturally with the character of the vessel, while respecting traditional
craftsmanship.

My work is born from the combination of experience, craftsmanship and a deep passion for sailing, with particular attention to the quality of materials and, wherever possible, to the protection of the environment around us.
